The Kenton Pointe April resident of the month is Sam Woods. Sam and his wife, Nelle, joined our family in January 2018 after relocating from the effects of Hurricane Michael in Florida. After a brief illness, Nelle passed in March 2018 after more than 77 years of marriage. Sam enjoyed his life serving his country in the military who retired from the Air Force as a Colonel. He also enjoyed his own veterinary practice. We love to hear about his adventures and travels throughout the world. In Sam’s spare time, (not sure when that was), he made beautiful handmade furniture. Sam is blessed with a loving, caring family with the same adventurous spirit. Sam is a true southern gentleman filled with appreciation for all he has and those around him. If you get a chance to sit and visit with Sam you will recognize the quick wit, kind heart, and caring soul. We are blessed to call him family.
